aegisnet Sweden: The Swedish Institute for Health Economics (IHE)

IHE is a non-profit organisation engaged in applied health economic research and consulting.  Established in 1979, it is a fully owned subsidiary of Apoteket AB (the National Corporation of Swedish Pharmacies). Projects are run within the framework of five areas: economic evaluation of pharmaceuticals and medical technologies, organisation and financing of health care, pharmaceutical market regulations and policy, health care in developing countries and traffic safety and health. The work of the IHE staff is widely published and presented at international conferences. This, combined with the excellent services they provide, attests to their reputation as a highly reliable source of knowledge on health economics. IHE is an associate member of aegisnet.
